GYMNASTICS - GRS
1. Brief Introduction to the Activities
Artistic Gymnastics — GYM
Learning and improving technical movements and gymnastic skills on the different apparatus:
- balance beam;
- uneven bars;
- vault;
- floor exercise.
Rhythmic Gymnastics — GRS
Learning and improving body movements — jumps, pirouettes, balances and flexibility — as well as techniques using the 5 apparatus:
- rope;
- hoop;
- ball;
- clubs;
- ribbon.
Preparation of choreographies for the Christmas demonstration and the end-of-year show.
Artistic Gymnastics Production — PGA
PGA gives participants the freedom to create, perform and express themselves through all imaginable forms of artistic expression.
There are no boundaries: different styles meet and blend together to create unique performances.
The section particularly focuses on:
- lifts and partner work;
- choreographies;
- different props such as scarves, chairs, hats, etc.
2. Activity Details
2.1 Training Venues
GYM
Madeuf Gymnastics Hall – Richard Bozon Sports Centre
The hall is equipped with gymnastics apparatus and various training modules, as well as equipment belonging to the section:
- rocking rollers;
- AirTrack inflatable track;
- beginner/Early Years gymnastics modules;
- etc.
GRS – PGA
Jeanne d’Arc School Gymnasium
Floor mats must be set up at the beginning of each session and put away at the end.
All apparatus and accessories required are provided by the section.

- Christmas Demonstration: Jeanne d’Arc School Gymnasium
- End-of-Year Show: Coubertin Gymnasium – Richard Bozon Sports Centre
2.2 Equipment to Bring
Participants should bring:
- sportswear: leotard, leggings, shorts, vest top or T-shirt;
- no jewellery, in order to prevent injuries or damage to jewellery;
- hair tied back for every session;
- a water bottle for every session.
Dresses, skirts and jeans are not suitable for gymnastics.
2.3 Maximum Group Size
- 18 participants maximum per group;
- Early Years Gymnastics: 12 participants maximum;
- Teen GYM and Teen GRS (from age 12): 15 participants maximum;
- Competition group: 10 participants maximum.
2.4 Coaching
All our coaches are qualified.

3. Key Information at a Glance
The GYM–GRS–PGA section offers classes during the school year, outside school holiday periods, providing an opportunity to discover and develop skills in a fun and friendly atmosphere, with experienced and supportive coaches.
Training camps are also offered during certain school holidays and throughout the summer.

4. Registration
Registration takes place primarily during the Sports Fair.
For returning participants and students who have been on the waiting list since May, an AssoConnect registration link is sent before the start of the school year, usually at the beginning of August.
