FIGURE SKATING

Chamonix Figure Skating Club is the Chamonix valley’s official figure skating club.

We have around 100 members, an enthusiastic coaching team and a skating heritage dating back to the birth of the Winter Olympics in Chamonix in 1924. Our two nationally qualified coaches (DEJEPS) together with our team of qualified volunteers are all on hand to help share their passion and experience with our younger skaters.

Our aim is to inspire as many people as possible to embrace the joy of figure skating and to nurture and develop the best possible performance for each individual skater. Skaters can join the club from age three and a half years and can skate recreationally or at competition level. We also have classes for adults at beginner and experienced level. We welcome boys and girls from the age of 3 1/2 as well as teens and adults.

FOR CHILDREN

Lessons from september to mid April at the Chamonix ice rink

Panpan 3,5 - 5 years - recreational : Monday 5pm

Vert/rose/bleu (5-10 years) - recreational : Monday 5pm and the Ecole de Glace on Wednesdays for the first term

Turquoise – teens(11 – 18 ans) - recreational : Monday at 5pm for those of collège age and 7.45pm for lycée students

Jaune – recreational/competition : Mondays and Wednesdays
