FIGURE SKATING IN CHAMONIX
Discover the joy of skating!
The Chamonix Figure Skating Club offers figure skating lessons for children from 3½ years old, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to advanced skaters.
Our goal is to help everyone discover the pleasure of skating and progress at their own pace in a safe, welcoming and motivating environment.
Our lessons are taught by qualified professionals and instructors. We combine technical skills, artistic expression and the enjoyment of gliding on the ice, while adapting to each skater’s age, level and individual goals.
A season full of opportunities
Throughout the season, members can enjoy:
- regular skating lessons adapted to their level;
- choreography sessions;
- access to the Ice School, in partnership with the local ice hockey club;
- club activities and events;
- an end-of-season club gala;
- skating medal tests;
- training camps during school holidays, subject to ice availability.
OUR CLASSES
PANPANS — AGES 3½–5
A fun and gentle introduction to skating in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment.
Day: Monday
Times:
- Term 1: 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm
- Term 2: 5:20 pm – 6:05 pm
Course fee: €165
Federation licence: €20.06
The federation licence is arranged directly by the club when registering.
CHILDREN’S RECREATIONAL CLASSES — AGES 5–18
Learn, improve and build confidence on the ice with coaching adapted to each skater’s age and level.
Days:
- Monday, from September to April
- Wednesday, from September to December — Ice School in partnership with the local ice hockey club
Times:
- Term 1 — Monday: 5:00 pm – 5:50 pm
- Term 2 — Monday: 5:20 pm – 6:10 pm
- Term 1 only — Wednesday: 2:15 pm – 3:15 pm
Course fee: €245
Federation licence: €41.46
The federation licence is arranged directly by the club when registering.
ADULT RECREATIONAL CLASSES — AGES 18+
Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your skating skills, enjoy the ice in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Day: Monday, from September to April
Time: 7:45 pm – 8:45 pm
Course fee: €365
Federation licence: €66.06
The federation licence is arranged directly by the club when registering.
WHY FIGURE SKATING?

OUR COACHING TEAM
Our skaters are coached by an experienced team of qualified professionals and instructors.

- A team of 8 BF1-qualified skating instructors
Groups are organised according to age and level, with a maximum of 15 skaters per group.
Our aim is to provide every skater with quality coaching and individual attention in a positive and encouraging environment.
EQUIPMENT
What to bring
To skate comfortably and safely, skaters should bring:
- warm and comfortable sportswear, such as leggings and a fleece;
- long socks;
- gloves — mandatory;
- a helmet for children under 5 and all Ice School participants;
- good-quality figure skates.
Skate rental
Figure skates can be rented directly from the club.
REGISTRATION

Everyone is welcome to enjoy two free trial sessions before confirming their registration.
New recreational members
Registration takes place mainly during the Sports Forum.
