Ice Hockey - Ligue Magnus Tranfers

Tranfers opening season for the Ligue Magnus.

The first significant "move" has been the contract extension of coach Stéphane GROS. Head coach of the Chamois since 2009, the technician signs up for a seventh season on the Chamoniard bench, providing stability and continuity for the team.

"It was important to maintain our coach for next year. Indeed, the formula of the 2015/2016 France Elite Championship experiencing a major change. At the end of the season, three clubs will be relegated to a lower division, to make way for a new Ligue Magnus to 12 clubs next season (instead of 14). We wanted to keep Stéphane to continue all the good work done for many years", said the President of CHC, Michel BIBOLLET.

The Chamois staff is pleased to announce the recruitment of experienced and talented Henri Corentin BUYSSE, ultimate defensive rampart of Dijon Dukes last 2 seasons.

He will replace Clément Fouquerel in the HCC net.

At 27, the new goalie of Chamonix reaches full maturity, with its succession of experiences in Amiens, Mont Blanc, Morzine and Dijon.
We bet that this spectacular and regular goalkeeper will bring real added value to the defensive sector of Stéphane GROS men.
His stats speak for him 92% of stops on average in the last two regular seasons in Dijon, and even 93% in the last play-offs!
Chamois fans certainly remember the first round of these playoffs yet, where he had been inflexible.

No doubt that player, effective opponent yesterday, will be a major asset for Chamonix next season!

After two great seasons with the Chamois, Kyle Hardy decided to try a new challenge in the 2nd division Swedish league.
The Chamois staff thanks him for all his involvement during his time in Chamonix and wish him success in his future.

To compensate for his departure, the Chamois are pleased to announce the signing of Quebec defenseman Dominic JALBERT from Les Bruleurs de Loup de Grenoble. The new Chamoniard defender, 25 years has a well provided resume with no less than four seasons in the major junior league QMJHL and three years in Ottawa University in the CIS league where he will be credited with 76 points (22 goals and 54 assists) in 75 games making him one of the top defenders in this league (several nominations in the all star team).
Before arriving in France, when he could pursue professional challenge in ECHL, Dominic chose to finish school while playing in the NAHL league.
The new leader of the Chamois defense corps is an offensive back, reliable in both ways of the rink and with a very good skating.
Welcome to him!
