Nordic Combined - Geoffrey Lafarge ends his career

Geoffrey Lafarge has decided to end his career, he explains his choice:

"I want to end my high level sporting career in nordic combined.

The results of the last two seasons were not those expected. And even if the pleasure was indeed present, the difficulties I have experienced to make top 30 in the World Cup, make me think it's time to stop.
Living in the world of elite sport is wonderful, but continue to go on, failing to reach the top does not make sense to me.

I leave without regret but with great memories and emotions.
Traveling the world by wearing the colors of France in all these years has been for me a great honor.
When I was a child, I entered the world of ski jumping and Nordic combined, and it was a dream to be part of the France team and compete in the World Cup.
Today I am very happy to have pursued this dream to the maximum of my abilities.

The taste of the effort and the spark that shines in my eyes when I race is far from extinct! This is why I will remain active in the world of sport and competition in living new experiences in the trail, cross country skiing and certainly in the ski mountaineering. "

We wish him all the best for the future.

GEOFFREY THANKS !!!!
