Guillermo FAYED
Introduction :
Guillermo was born in Chamonix. A great lover of speed and snow, Gus, his nickname, has founded his discipline : downhill.
He competed in two Olympic Games, Vancouver (CAN) and Sochi (RUS) in with a 26th place each time.
Gus also took part 3 times in world championships with a tremendous 5th place in Beaver Creek (USA) in 2015 as best result.
After several seasons with back issues, the Chamoniard hesitated to stop.
2015 was the season of renewal for Guillermo. Looking from a season as high as his expectations. Moreover, he added seriousness and rigor to his training, which enabled him to achieve the best season of his career.

· 2nd place in 2014/15 Lake Louise downhill world cup
· 3rd place in 2014/15 Kitzbühel downhill world cup
Highlight :
· 5th place in Méribel downhill world cup final, finishing 3rd overall thanks to this result
